RNC Outraises DNC

When it comes to donations given straight to one of the two political parties, the New York Times is reporting that it's the RNC who has the edge over the Democrats, in very direct contrast to what's going on in the presidential race.

This stands as the latest example of America's political ambivalence about Democrats even in a year when it's supposed to be deeply committed to them. Maybe it's just because people think Howard Dean is incompetent and the DNC is inept, because he is and they are. But after 7 years of absolute Republican control, all three branches of government have proved disastrous - not just for this country, but for global stability in the 21st century.

Republican after Republican has been indicted, incriminated or humiliated in the past couple of years for all manor of ethical breaches, and still, the country isn't comfortable making a clean break from the thing it knows so well. Or maybe it's just a sign that Republicans, not knowing where to turn, are just cutting checks to the Party. We'll hope for the second thing. But come on. Just give up the ghost already.

Im not a republican, but I vote republican because in my opinion they
are the lesser of two evils by default. And here is why: The
democrats are constantly wanting to ban firearm ownership, create
racist-against-whites hate laws and give our tax money to welfare and
special interest groups. I cant even consider a democratic candidate
for those very reasons. Maybe if they stop wiping their asses with
the constitution ( GW's patriot act puts him in this same field) I
would be more inclined to vote for them. They automatically eliminate
themselves from the votes of many outdoorsmen with their anti bill of
rights stance. Dont bother flaming me, I wont be back to read.

I really really want you too win. So you better fight really really
really hard to win. And like your daddy would always say if you let
the woman win then you are not a winner. So dont let Hillary Kick
your ass. Ok bye

More money, to uncover the dirt. Hope they are clean.

I agree there is a lot of special interest power at stake here they
are going to dump the money needed to keep their interests served.
Obama won't accept it so McCain may be the man.

When you look at the different influences that have kept this nation
down like oil interests, don't you think they will be willing to do
anything to protect their presidency. They run this country not Bush.
