Republican debate in Florida last night.

It was a much more subdued affair than the fiery Democratic debate just a couple days earlier. Romney came out talking about his economic accomplishments both as a Governor and a businessman and that he would be the best candidate to lead this country on economic issues. He also had the best soud bite of the evening when he was asked about running against the Clinton team, "The idea of Bill Clinton back in the White House with nothing to do is something I can’t imagine" . Giuliani was asked about his hometown paper the New York Times endorsing John McCain and issuing the following scathing analysis of Rudy Giuliani describing him as, "a narrow, obsessively secretive, vindictive man." Rudy was the big loser of the night as he was also asked about his free fall in the polls from the clear leader in Florida to third place and he responded that he expected to win just like his hometown New York Giants did in reaching the Super Bowl. McCain really did ntot do much but brought laughter in commenting about remarks made abut thim by his 95 year old mother and actor Chuck Norris. He also defended the war in Iraq. Hucakbaee also brought laughs to the crowd with some of his responses and actually seemed to be the most relaxed candidate on the stage. Ron Paul also took the stage and took his less government message to the crowd.

Henk it is the other way. I think that the Democratic candidates that
are left have what it takes to be there. But then talk is cheap.

Posted by Henk on 1/26/2008 6:40:24 AM
neither Republican candidate will do good for the world or America

Posted by Jeb on 1/25/2008 8:49:41 PM
How about these independent think tanks sending us all a newsletter
with the candidates listed on issues. They get all kinds of grants.
Get them to publish it not just the newspaper.

Candidates need to discuss and educate the American people on the
issues where they are lost.

Posted by Bill on 1/25/2008 8:46:43 PM
I want a fair and clean debate where it is issues not some attack and
smear campaign. I want the people to get the most out of the debates
and understand their viewpoint on issues and why.

I am also voting for John McCain he will make a difference.

Posted by clay on 1/25/2008 8:39:35 PM
I am sticking with John McCain, he has years of experience under his
belt and has agenda to put through that will make this nation strong
and powerful again.

Mitt Romney has a world of experience in the business field. He
created staples chain and made a bonanza out of it. He became
governor and made major contributions to state of M***achusetts. He
should be respected by all and could very well be the next president.

We need debates where they scroll how each candidates stands on the
issue as well as hearing them speak.

Posted by Sid on 1/25/2008 8:17:23 PM
The media will never do so. They are not going to make some list and
display it on television for you.

Posted by Jeb on 1/25/2008 8:04:54 PM
Why does not media list how the candidates stand on the issues before
the debate starts. Not talk but list a description of the candidates
that fits them. This would make a big difference for many people
before they go and vote on election day.

Posted by Jeb on 1/25/2008 8:00:25 PM
I want all the candidates to be on a mailer listing how they stand on
the issues sent to all Americans homes. Before they go an debate it
out so we know where they stand.

Posted by Jeb on 1/25/2008 7:54:49 PM
I do want to hear what the candidates think if they believe in
woman's right to chose. Moreover, I want to know what they think of
our schools and the education their been given is up to date with the
rest of the world. Do you think that maybe parents should be brought
in the cl***room and to be seated next to your parents and see how
they perform.

Sex is no *** game. Its a very dangerous thing that could happen.
Blood is exchanged and hormones are release in the male sperm which
fertilizes the girls eggs. If the girl gets pregnant and then has no
way out, abortion comes up. If the guy wants the kid and girl does
not, the guy has no way of making the girl have it willingly. But the
abortion ruins a girls chance of having a good child later on. If she
does not get pregnant but has sex both get the smell of each of them
in their systems.

Posted by Cindy on 1/25/2008 7:17:31 PM
These kids are all sexually active and could care less what you think
or I. The loveglove costs nothing and the relationship grows
something wonderful can happen. What are you going to do, stop the
young kids emotions for what a boy and girl feel for each other.

Posted by Frank on 1/25/2008 7:10:46 PM
I do not want sex education to be taught until the students are old
enough. The parents should get involved with their chidren and rear
them with the proper understanding and curving their behavior until
it is molded in the image of the bible.

Posted by Karen on 1/25/2008 7:08:31 PM
The girls should have gotten sex education at their school. And
learned of all the precautions that they could have implemented.

Posted by Frank on 1/25/2008 7:04:14 PM
The fault is that their government did not teach them right from
wrong. Worse their parents did not teach them anything as well. Sex
is not some game but a dangerous thing to experiment with. If he/she
did not really love each other than they should never even done it.

Posted by Cherl on 1/25/2008 6:56:54 PM
What happens if they do not really love the guy but did it and got
pregnant.

Posted by Andrea on 1/25/2008 6:56:03 PM
What is a girl going to do if they get pregnant. They have no way out
of it. The parents never want to hear it.
