Florida Primaries take Center Stage Today

Republicans and Democrats go to the polls today in Florida. The Republican side of the primary shows a dead heat between John McCain and Mitt Romney. The Democratic side which was not really contested should be going big for Hillary Clinton as she has most of the power players in Florida on her side. Obama by getting the Kennedy endorsements should get a boost among Hispanics who respect the Kennedy legacy.

McCain and Romney have been going at it for the last week on comments made by McCain about Romney’s alleged statements about withdrawing from Iraq. Rudy Giuliani who was the clear front runner up until about a month ago when he started fading fast. Different pundits have speculated that Giuliani will leave the race if he comes in third in Florida as projected. Huckabee is running in fourth place and will also be a non factor going forward if he does not improve his poll numbers. Ron Paul has not really resonated with voters in the state.

Hollywood should make a movie of the Clintons but not to give them
the glamour and loveable image that you have Tara. I think it should
be truthful and unbiased. All that went on during the Bill Clinton's
first presidency.

Posted by Tara on 1/29/2008 8:51:50 PM
She has it all. What a life that Hillary Rodham Clinton has had.
Hollywood will have to make a movie about her. I hope that the person
that plays her role acts as good as she is president.

How does it feel America to have Hillary as our president. She makes
for a great first lady then senator and now a possible presidency.
Wow what a impressive career thus far.

It looks like its going to be Mc Cain and Clinton in the finals. Way
to go John Mc Cain and Hillary Clinton.

Does Giulani have a chance then maybe it will be in New York.

McCain is winning by three points in the latest polls I have seen.
Romney is seond and Giulian is third and Huckabee is fourth.

Posted by Dave on 1/29/2008 8:19:49 PM
It looks like Hillary is going to win by 20 points in Florida. It
does not look like the Kennedy endorsements are really helping him
even with all the media attention it has received.

Posted by Jim on 1/29/2008 8:07:29 PM
Actually Huckabee is fourth not third. He is behind McCain, Romney
and Giuliani.

I read something where all the candidates have raised over 400
million so far. The big winners have been Obama and Clinton with both
raising almost 100 million each.

No mention of Mike Huckabee. Mike has what it takes too. A fine man
who stands a distant thrid behind Mitt Romney.

How much money are all these politicians spending for there
campaigns. I hope people are keeping a close eye on the money trail.
Nobody likes it to go the moon. In other words, money wins them the
oval office without any tangible creditability. Of course they have
to have some kind of track record that exemplifies them.

How about those Interns. I bet Bill Clinton pegged every one of them
in the rear. I am sure that there is a story with everyone of them.

Posted by Ken on 1/29/2008 7:48:12 PM
Are we going to have Interns hiding in closets while Heads of state
are in the room. Some of the stuff that went on was pathetic

Hillary will make this nation proud and respectable. Just look at her
speak during the debates. she stands out the most and can not be
challenged. What a woman can do.

Posted by jasmin on 1/29/2008 7:39:06 PM
Not one day of those Clintons back in the Whitehouse. Never forget
all that was said and not said about them.

Posted by John on 1/29/2008 7:36:55 PM
Romney has spent close to 30 million on Tv ads in Florida or about 5
times what McCain has spent. For them to be close is really a tribute
to McCain

Posted by Jim on 1/29/2008 7:04:52 PM
McCain is pushing hard in Floria. He is blanketing parts of teh
states in radio ads as he does not have as much money as Romney

Posted by Rebecca Tenorio on 1/29/2008 6:48:38 PM
Hillary Clinton should be the next President of the United States
because people like what she says, and is a very strong person in
politics.

Posted by peter on 1/29/2008 6:28:52 PM
Hillary looks really sharp and may go all the way to making it to be
president. All the candidates look sharp and have automatic answers
during the debates. That tells you they have worked hard and have
years of experience under there belt.

When is this nation going to elect a leader with morals, values and
principles that model the bibles purpose. Religion which is so
instrumental to our way of life is being shelved by americans. The
book is means so much to me and the president that follows the book
will do no wrong. Think how important it is to us.
