Secret Service Does Not Allow WhiteHouse.com to Photograph Obama Bus

WhiteHouse.com Exclusive: In a crazy incident WhiteHouse.com tried to take a picture of Barack Obama's bus to put on the website but was rebuffed by the Secret Service detail at his campaign stop. We traveled several hours by car to see the electrifying Barack Obama in person to get a feel for the electricity he shares with his supporters. The campaign stop held 2500 people but about 3000 people including ourselves showed up. Click on arrow to start video. (Video is 5 Minutes in length)
We waited outside for about an hour with hundreds of supporters until the Fire Marshall signaled that they would not let anybody else in due to overcrowding concerns. From there we walked around the facility to get a picture of his bus and maybe get a picture of him leaving the facility. We were quickly confronted by police who would not allow us to even stay on a public sidewalk which was 40 feet from the bus.

When we came around to take a photo of the bus for this website we were quickly confronted by a Secret Service person who demanded we not take any pictures of his bus. We felt this was amazing considering as you can see in the video, we have been able to go right up to most of the other candidates. We shook hands hands with several of the candidates and even with President Bill Clinton with Secret Service all around him. We even got a campaign question in to Fred Thompson which he gladly answered at a press conference.

We left, even though we felt we were in the right . We did not want to inflame the situation as we understand special security procedures have been put in place due to Barack Obama's historic run for the White House.

We are asking our audience to comment on whether you would have stayed and protected your Free Speech rights or would you have left as we did. We also want to know if you think the Secret Service were out of line in their actions? Just remember you did not see a picture of his bus on WhiteHouse.com. Click on arrow to start video. You can also adjust sound by clicking on volume control in lower right corner.

Why are you in the motorcade area??? I walked into the Bush
motorcade area when he was here in Palm Springs and just about got
arrested. It has nothing to do with "FREE SPEECH" and everything to
do with securing the area. There are some crazies out there. I don't
blame them. Better safe than sorry.

Several years ago I was also told that I could not take a simple
picture of an America Emb***y, even though I'm an American. I just
wanted a picture of the building for goodness sakes! This was in the
former USSR, and it was American guards who told me this. I think
this Barack guy is also of the Communist train of thought. Everything
to them must be controled. I think you should have called them
on it and taken your stupid pictures. Don't they realize people can
take pictures of the bus all day long as it goes down the highway.
You guys are Sissy's to play into the hands of some 3rd rate SS agent
with an American ID card. Yeah... I think you do not need to ever
back down again. What will the charges be when they put you in jail?
Will you be charged with unlawfully taking the pic of a bus? Oh...you
should get at least 30 years for that horrid crime...for sure!
Keep Trucking,
Mr. Tom Sides

I'd hate to see a realness come to what 30 yrs ago was just a movie.
Did anyone see "Captains and the Kings"? And how many remember the
Robert Kennedy shooting? Obama must take special care, certainly
more than anyone else.

Filming a person in bus or getting into bus will not reduce anything
from him. Look at Arnold Schwarzenegger. Join Arnold sentense was on
bus and He was standing on bus door while bus was driving! He won and
now he is Governor of California

Obama, don't do that kind of things with people. It is bad for your
prestigue and also your popular demand, you who calls people for
demands from events*** website! You are one from people and you will
remain one from people. You have nothing more than other candidates
have who are from people for people.

Shame on those who are treating people like second degree or third
degree people! You know whome I am saying...

Posted by Unknown on 2/2/2008 4:26:24 PM
When they want people's vote they show a film in TV and media shaking
hands with their pre chosen people, but when It comes to public then
public people turn into second or third degree citizens!???????

If they are really thinking for providing security, they have
security checked all people before they get to there! There is no
need to treat people like they are potential treats! If they have not
security checked people, then It is not people's problem, It is
secret service problem. When the candidates talk between people and
shake hand with them, where are they!? Are secret service agent
asleep at that time?

US Constitution says We the people of america, also mentions people
for people for givernment. A person who does not feel himself from
people and does not want to contribute with people is not right for
presidency. Vote to someone who is from people for people. Vote for
someone who is between people and feels himself/herself from people.
