At least 22 people have been killed in three states by massive storms that hit the areas over the weekend. 15 people died in Missouri, 6 died in Oklahoma and at least 1 person died in Georgia.
Some towns were completely destroyed by the storm. Others that were partially destroyed by the storms will take a long time to recover. This has been a very bad season for storms in the United States. States such as Arkansas and Virginia have already been hit by massive storms earlier in the year.
President Bush has been in contact with the Governor's of the states hit by the storms and has promised Federal Aid for the areas hard hit by the storms.
